Return and Exchange Policy – Stone Pavers Australia
Validity and Pricing: All quotations provided by Stone Pavers Australia are valid for a duration of 1 month. Prices are subject to change without prior notification.
Order Placement and Allocation: No stock will be assigned or allocated until the seller has received a minimum deposit of 33%. A handling fee of 30% (minimum $70) will be incurred if an order is cancelled after this point. Specialty ordered products require a minimum deposit of 50%, with funds cleared, before ordering.
Delivery: Delivery times are estimates, and the seller is not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from delays. Time is not of the essence in delivery, and specified dates are estimates only. Once goods leave the premises, the buyer assumes responsibility.
Damaged or Defective Goods: Buyers must inspect goods upon delivery and report defects or damage within 48 hours. Returns require prior approval, must be in an undamaged and resealable state, and are accepted up to 21 days after leaving the seller’s premises, incurring a restocking fee of 30% or a minimum of $70.
Change of Mind Returns:
If you have a change of mind about a purchase, we understand. Change of mind returns are accepted but are subject to a 30% handling fee + delivery fee (If you have opted in for delivery). This fee helps cover processing, restocking, and associated administrative costs. Please note that change of mind returns must meet the following conditions:
Liability and Warranty: Implied conditions and warranties are excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law. The seller’s liability, if any, is limited to replacement, resupply, or refund. Claims must be made in writing within 48 hours of delivery.
Imperfect Goods: Stone Pavers Australia aims to ensure that imperfect goods do not exceed 5%. Some first-grade goods may be chipped or broken, and imperfections should be used as cuts/infill. No liability is accepted for the removal or consequential loss associated with replacing imperfect goods.
Inspection and Acceptance: All goods must be inspected before being laid, as once laid, they are deemed accepted. No warranties or claims can be made for faults post-installation.
Installation Recommendations: Stone Pavers Australia recommends that goods are installed by experienced licensed stone fixers. The seller is not liable for damage or breakage post-delivery or any losses incurred by the buyer as a result.
Compliance with Australian Practices: Goods must be laid in compliance with Australian practices, including tile blending from different batches. Buyers are advised to familiarize themselves with tiling practices and codes through www.australiantilecouncil.com.au.
