Granite pavers make great outdoor pavers for use as driveway paving due to its density and low porosity, making it a virtually indestructible driveway paving solution. Great as an indoor floor or wall tiles when having a honed or polished surface finish. Often used in bathrooms and kitchen, meals and fanmily rooms domestically, or in hotel and office foyers commercially.
We recommend ALL Granite Paving, Granite pool coping be layed in MAPEI Granirapid adhesive and where necessary sealed with a premium stone sealer from Tasman Chemicals. These granite sealers come in both penetrating or surface type coatings. We recommend ONLY penetrating sealers be used externally as they will not make the non slip granite slippery.
We stock penetrating granite sealers in a colour enhancing version and also a invisible (no colour change) version. These sealers vary in price from around $55 ltr through to $120 ltr. One litre usually covers around 5m2 with 2 coats (minimum recommended).
GRANITE PAVERS- Are great for around pools and paving driveways as they have a flamed non slip surface. We sell at wholesale prices direct to public. The granite pavers selected for use as outdoor tiles have a exfoliated non slip surface, whilst our internal floor tiles have a honed or polished surface. For our swimming pools we have a bullnose or drop face pool coping tile along with matching pool pavers.
Harkaway bluestone 40sqm arrived within 5 days of ordering, very well packed and we did not have 1 breakage in the 100 slabs delivered. Beautiful subtle natural patterns and so pleased with the end result. Given that it is a natural product, definitely would recommend sealing it. We are delighted with our purchase
